If you use any of the services which Utixo provides, you will be deemed to have consented to the collection and use of the personal information you submit to Utixo in the ways described below.   1. In order for Utixo to provide its services to you, including (but not limited to) domain name, website hosting and eCommerce services (the “Services”), Utixo might ask you to provide it with certain personal information.

  3. Such personal information will be collected and processed by Utixo or its agents for the following purposes:
    1. to provide the Services to you;

  2. In the event that Utixo is acquired, the personal information Utixo has collected will be considered as part of the company’s assets and may, therefore, be transferred to a purchaser.
  3. From time to time Utixo may wish to collect information of a sensitive personal nature from you. In such cases before Utixo asks you for the information it will inform you of how it intends to use the information and it will ask for your explicit consent.
  4. You have the right to ask Utixo for a copy of the personal information it holds about you (for which Utixo may charge a small fee), and to correct any inaccuracies in that information.

As part of its duties as an ICANN accredited domain name registrar, Utixo is required to provide certain information about customers who register domain names with Utixo to the relevant naming authority. This information will include personal data such as the customers name, address and telephone number. The relevant naming authority will make such information available to the public through publicly accessible directories of owners of domain names. It is a condition of the purchase of a domain name from Utixo that the customer agrees to the transfer of his/her personal data to the relevant naming authority and agrees to the naming authority making that personal data available on a public database. Utixo can provide its customers with details of the relevant naming authority on request.
  8. Utixo reserves the right to pass on your personal information to any law enforcement agencies properly requesting it in connection with the commission of any offense once Utixo is reasonable satisfied as to the circumstances surrounding the request.
  9. If you have abandoned your Utixo shopping cart, and therefore not completed your order, we will contact you via email. By entering your email address at the Utixo checkout pages you consent to being contacted via email by Utixo, should you abandon your order. These email addresses are not shared with any third parties and are used solely by Utixo.
  10. Utixo have several procedures in place in relation to the collection and storage of your information. When our online order process requests financial details (including credit cards) information is encrypted and is protected 128 bit Secure Socket layer (SSL).
  11. Any information that resides on our internal systems is STRICTLY locked down – via secure encrypted systems. Limited access is only provided to employees who need access on a need to know basis – e.g. Accountants.
